How do the TRUCOR tiers differ?+
The tiers differ mainly in core thickness, wear-layer thickness, and visual range — PRIME, for example, is published as a 4mm core with a 20 mil wear layer. We'll match the tier to your traffic and subfloor rather than to a price sheet alone.
Is TRUCOR good for a Montana basement?+
Rigid-core waterproof flooring is one of the better basement choices here, but the slab still needs moisture testing and the room still needs the manufacturer's expansion gaps. The product being waterproof does not make the assembly waterproof.
