Fabrica
Premium carpet, custom rugs, and hardwood
Fabrica sits at the top of the soft-surface market — premium carpet, handcrafted custom rugs, and hardwood, marketed under the line "Quality Without Compromise." It's the line designers reach for when a primary suite or a great-room rug has to feel unmistakably different underfoot.

Montana climate & project considerations
- In second homes that sit cold and empty for weeks, premium fibers with good crush recovery are worth the upgrade.
- Custom rugs let you keep hardwood or tile in the traffic path and put the soft surface exactly where people sit.
- Plan lead time around custom rug fabrication, not just carpet availability.

Fabrica FAQs
Does Northern Lights Design carry Fabrica?+
Fabrica is available through Northern Lights Design. Contact us to confirm current samples, pricing, lead time, freight, and warranty terms for the collection you're specifying.
How long do custom Fabrica rugs take?+
Custom rugs are fabricated to your dimensions, so the timeline depends on the style, size, and binding you choose. We confirm the current published lead time before you commit — tell us your required on-site date up front.
Is premium carpet worth it in a Montana second home?+
Often yes, because intermittent occupancy is less about traffic and more about how the fiber recovers and how the room feels on arrival. We'll be candid if a mid-tier line gets you the same result.
Do you handle the installation?+
No. We supply the carpet or rug and coordinate delivery; your independent installer handles the install, and stretch-in or glue-down requirements come from the manufacturer's instructions.
Compare these brands
Most decisions come down to two or three lines side by side. These are the brands clients most often weigh against Fabrica — bring us your short list and we'll put real samples next to each other.
