Masland
Heritage American carpet with a wool program
Masland is a heritage American carpet name — the company traces its origin to 1866 — with a design-led residential catalog and an American Crafted Wool program. It's a step up in texture and pattern from mainstream broadloom, and it's a separate brand from DH Floors.

Montana climate & project considerations
- Wool naturally handles Montana's dry winter static and humidity swings well, but it needs a realistic cleaning plan in a mud-and-snow household.
- Patterned carpet on stairs conceals the traffic lane that wears first in valley homes with a walk-out lower level.
- For lake and second homes that sit empty, ask about fiber choices that resist crushing between visits.

Masland FAQs
Is Masland the same brand as DH Floors?+
No. Masland and DH Floors are separate consumer-facing carpet brands with their own collections, pricing, and warranty documents. We quote them individually.
Can I get Masland wool carpet in Montana?+
Masland is available through Northern Lights Design. Contact us to confirm current samples, pricing, lead time, freight, and warranty terms for the wool or synthetic line you're considering.
Can Masland broadloom be bound into an area rug?+
Yes — broadloom is commonly bound into custom rugs. Send us your finished dimensions and binding preference with your pricing request.
How should I compare Masland to Fabrica?+
Both sit above mainstream broadloom. In practice the decision usually comes down to the specific fiber, pattern scale, and price band of the two styles in front of you — we'll put samples side by side rather than argue brand rank.
